To the wonderful firefighters who made this little boys day you didn't just make him smile you put a smile on my face as well.

Sitting in my car at the supermarket in Belmont Vic I watched as two fireman walked towards their truck.

Noticing a young boy and his dad they stopped and chatted then took them over to see inside the cabin ,before hoping in and turning on the lights and sirens for this little chap.

They drove off very very slowly waving goodbye to him with lights still flashing.

It might only be a small gesture in some peoples eyes but for that little boy and his dad and everyone else who watched it was just beautiful .
