This Morning I Saw A Boy, Probably About 5 Years Old, Taking Out The Trash

I live in an apartment complex and was driving through the parking lot this morning when I saw a boy around 5 years old. He was carrying a trash bag over his shoulder while walking along the sidewalk on the way to the dumpster. He looked back at me about to pass him then looked forward and started running. I pulled up alongside him and he looked over to see if he was winning our spontaneous race. I put my car in neutral as it continued to roll and revved up the engine a little bit to let him know I meant business and wasn't going to lose. Of course, the kid beat me to the dumpster and we waved at each other as I rolled on by.
