A dog in Dongguan, Guangdong, recently proved that luck can come in the most unexpected forms.

On February 15, Ms. Lin experienced a stroke of fortune when her canine companion, seemingly on a mission of its own, wandered into a lottery shop and picked a winning ticket, leaving both owner and bystanders in delightful disbelief.

Lin recounted the charming tale of how her day took an unexpected turn.

While shopping, her golden retriever managed to get off his leash and dashed into a nearby lottery shop. When Lin caught up with her dog, she discovered it had bitten one of the lottery tickets placed on the table. Due to the dog's teeth marks on the scratch card, she had no choice but to buy the ticket.

Little did she know, that seemingly playful act would unveil a winning prize of 1000 yuan.

"I was so surprised," she said. "I've never won such a large sum of money in a lottery."

The following day, Lin decided to test her luck again. She brought her pup back to the lottery shop and let him choose a ticket with a playful bite.

She won an additional 30 yuan.
