A man in Italy took his terminally-ill dog to the beach so that he could see the sea one last time.

Piero Temperato shared the touching photos of his beloved pup on the beach to Facebook.

He wrote: "I know.... I'm a madman for bringing you this far in your conditions... but I wanted to give you this other emotion.. because I know, that you, love to see the vastness of the sea, the same enormity of my love for you."
