This Coffee Table Creates Beautiful Art Using A Marble That Rolls Around In Sand
October 23, 2020
Sisyphus is a kinetic art coffee table created by artist Bruce Shapiro.
How does it work?
A thin layer of sand is spread across the table. A marble that's controlled by a magnet moves around creating intricate geometric designs.
The tables even glow in the dark:
Last fall, Shapiro took his table to Kickstarter, where he raised over $1,900,000.
A commercial website for the product is currently in development.
