Cornelius Cornbread is a black Bombay cat in Nashville, Tennessee, who has become popular on Instagram thanks to eyebrow marks on his forehead he's had since he was a kitten.

Cornbread's owner, Karen Mellette, says the "eyebrows" are due to a lack of fur in the area.

The eyebrows are really just the white skin revealed through the thinner area of black fur in his brow area.

According to Karen, Cornelius has a big personality to match his unique looks.

"Cornelius has a big personality and loves to be at the centre of the attention, but he's also a sweet, affectionate cat."

"He loves following us around, curling up on our laps or snuggling up next to us, and unlike many cats, he enjoys being held and carried," she said.
