Do You Know What A Koala Sounds Like? Their Mating Call Is An Absolute Nightmare

Koalas may be small and look adorable, but have you ever heard one?

I don't know what I thought koalas sounded like but it certainly wasn't this.

But that is nothing compared to their mating call.

It's absolutely horrifying.

"The guy had been stomping around our front garden tonight whilst we were trying to watch TV, so I went out to investigate," Michael Snoswell said about his video (above). "And yes - this is the real sound they make, loud enough to travel way down the valley and up this close you feel it in your chest."
