Someone Found A Starfish With A Huge Butt

A photo of a pink sea star that appears to have large behind has garnered hundreds of thousands of shares on Twitter.

The photo was taken by a visitor at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA.
But, as marine wildlife experts have confirmed, it's not a butt. It's actually the sea star's arms.
"In this photo, the sea star is on a vertical rock face with two of its arms holding the rock and two arms hanging in a relaxed position," said Nate Jaros, curator of fish and invertebrates at the Aquarium of the Pacific. "Sea stars sometimes relax their arms such as when they are eating."
