Jason Momoa Crashes Couple's Beachside Wedding Photos As Aquaman
December 24, 2018
Jason Momoa crashed a beachside photo shoot for a couple's wedding as the king of Atlantis.
The Aquaman star was in Hawaii with friends and family when he noticed Katie and Brandon taking photos on the beach.
"We were taking our wedding photos after the ceremony out on the rocks and Jason Momoa and some of his family and some friends just all walked out on the beach," Katie told E! News. "They were shouting congratulations to us and they were super calm and super chill."
The wedding photographer asked Jason if he would photobomb the couple's wedding photos and "he happily agreed".
"There just happened to be a kid on the beach nearby with that trident and Jason asked to borrow it. So he took the trident and went behind the couple in their picture and pretended to be a sasquatch," said Carina Cooper, wedding coordinator for Oahu Boutique Weddings.
Katie described Momoa and his family as "positive and loving and gracious and they were just really lovely human beings."
The sentiment was shared by Carina who said that Jason "took pictures with all the kids and all the people on the beach, he was very nice about it, he was very humble."
"It was a really special experience," Katie said.
