I Thought He Was Crazy Dumping Weird Goo All Over His Car. And Now... I'm Speechless
April 29, 2014
A Lithuanian man has shocked the car industry with his newest creation. Using the shell of an old Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class, he built a supercar. And he didn't use plastic, aluminum or metal to do it. His tool of choice? Foam.
Here is the original car.
Now that he has his shell, the process begins. He pours expanding foam all over...
It looks like a disaster, but he's beginning to carve his vision.
Still looks terrible, but don't worry...
Is he really using what I think he is?
These "top of the line" cardboard stencils help the car take its new shape.
Don't worry, it's not even close to finished... and it is well worth the wait!
Precision.
Headlights are important too. It has to drive!
So what do you think?
Just kidding... almost there!
It now has the shape and curves.
The master mixing up some more magic goo...
Some sort of secret recipe I suppose...
Before we show the final product, let's shape up the interior real quick.
More foam and cardboard.
MORE!!
Which he managed to shape into...
THIS!
And here she is...
Wow...
And to think this supercar was created using an old junkyard frame and a bunch of foam. I'm speechless...
