Couple Saves An Eagle From Drowning In The Lake

A couple out for a boat ride in Lake Windermere on the 4th of July spotted a giant bird unable to get out of the water. As they got closer they realized it was an eagle.

"I pulled it onto the boat and brought it to shore to dry off. It flew away a few hours later. We saved an eagle on American Independence Day."
