Injured Stray Dog Walks To Pharmacy, Shows His Paw, And Gets His Wound Treated

An injured stray dog in Istanbul walked into a pharmacy to ask for help and it was all captured on camera.

Security footage shows the dog standing expectantly by the door.

"She was looking at me," pharmacy owner Banu Cengiz told The Dodo. "I said, 'Baby, is there a problem?'"

The dog responded by entering the pharmacy and giving Cengiz her paw.

Another video, shared by Cengiz herself, shows her treating the injured dog. Cengiz cleaned the dog's wound with antiseptic and gave her antibiotics.

"When I was done, she laid down as if to thank me," Cengiz said. "She was saying, 'I trust you'."
