Oklahoma Fire Explorer Rescues Ducklings From A Drain
June 25, 2019
An Oklahoma City Fire Department Fire Explorer spent some time with Fire Station 30 and he had an opportunity to rescue baby ducks from a drain.
Fire Explorers are youth, 14-21, who spend time with firefighters and learn many facets of the fire service. Some of these amazing young people develop a deep interest in the fire service and pursue it as a career. Others simply enjoy the experience, and firefighters enjoy the opportunity to be mentors and hopefully have a positive impact in their lives.
