Whale Accidentally Eats Diver, Then Spits Him Back Out

A diver in South Africa ended up inside a whale – and lived to tell the tale.

51-year-old dive tour operator Rainer Schimpf was with his team to document an annual sardine run when it "suddenly got dark".

"There is no time for fear on a situation like that, you have to use your instinct," Schimpf said.

Luckily, the whale eventually spit him back out.
