Concerned Momma Moose Wanders Into Alaska Firehouse
June 28, 2025
It’s not every day you get a visitor on four hooves, but that’s exactly what happened at a firehouse in Anchorage, Alaska!
In a now-viral video posted by the Anchorage Fire Department, a curious and concerned mother moose was caught on camera wandering into the station. At first, she hesitated at the doorway—clearly unsure if a firehouse was the right place for a moose mom to be.
According to firefighters, the worried moose was looking for her babies.
Eventually she decided the risk was worth it and searched the firehouse.
After cautiously exploring inside, her search had a happy ending—she was reunited with her calves, safe and sound.
It’s a moment that melted hearts across the internet and reminded us all that even wildlife moms will go to great lengths for their little ones—even if it means inspecting a firehouse!
