Penguin Says Goodbye To Rescuer And Starts His New Life

The Kaikōura Wildlife Rescue in New Zealand posted this video of an adorable little penguin being released back into the wild after a week of rehab due to an unfortunate injury.

The wildlife rescue wrote on Instagram:

"After a week in rehabilitation due to a head wound, this blue penguin adult was released back where it was found. Once beyond the breakers, it swam out far and strongly. A happy ending for this penguin."
