This amazing instrument is The Hupfeld Phonoliszt Violina, an orchestrion with self-playing violins.

Built in 1907, the Hupfeld Company's invention was one of the marvels revealed at the World's Fair of 1910 in Brussels. Many called it "the eighth wonder of the world."
