Watch This Baby Kangaroo Practice His First Hops!

February 19, 2018

In this touching video, an orphaned six-month-old joey named Bradley bounces timidly towards Chris "Brolga" Barns, his caretaker at The Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs.

Kangaroo expert Brolga, 44, lives in the middle of the desert without electricity so he can keep his personal sanctuary of dispossessed kangaroos safe and healthy. He saves joeys whose mothers have been killed.

Brolga has spent the last four weeks carrying Bradley around in a fabric pouch after the plucky marsupial's mother was hit by a car.
