Scientists Discover A Googly-Eyed Stubby Squid And Immediately Begin Roasting It

Imagine having such a spiritual experience like a giant alien vessel coming down from the sky and just blowing your mind and on the other end of the ship they're like "haha this one has an eye problem!"
The E/V Nautilus team spotted this Stubby Squid off the coast of California at a depth of 2,950 feet. The stubby squid (Rossia pacifica) looks like a cross between an octopus and squid, but is more closely related to cuttlefish.
