A theatre group in Turkey was performing an outdoor play when one of the actors had to pretend to be injured.
"The character I played was injured and in great pain," actor Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy told The Dodo. "He'd fallen off a horse, and was breathing hard."
Seeing this, a stray dog interrupted the play to comfort the actor.

Uzunsoy couldn't help but break character.
"I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it."
After the video went viral in Turkey, the sweet dog was adopted by Izmit Municipality Veterinary Affairs.
"We took him under our wing by doing all his medical care. He will always remain with us as our best friend and mascot," said manager Dr. Mehmet Çetinkaya.
