5-Year-Old With Paralyzed Vocal Cords Is About To Speak For The First Time

5-year-old Judah Bittner was born 24 weeks early. Due to complications, Judah was given a tracheotomy tube to help him breathe which damaged his vocal cords.
This is his first time using an Electrolarynx, a battery operated device that produces sound to create a voice.
