A group of girls played a vicious prank on high school senior Lillian Skinner by telling her that she had been nominated for Homecoming Queen.

Little did the "mean girls" know that Lillian's friends, Anahi Alvarez and Naomi Martinez, promised that "no matter what, no backing down," they'd give her the crown if either of them won.
Lillian had no idea what her friends were up to as she was on the football field taking pictures of the Homecoming Court for the school paper. When the announcement was made that Anahi Alvarez was chosen as the Homecoming Queen, she put the crown on Lillian.
