This 6-Year-Old Has Done What No Girl Scout Has Ever Done Before - Sold Over 100,000 Boxes

Most kids set goals. Six-year-old Pim Neill set one that sounded almost impossible—and then kept going.
In a single Girl Scout cookie season, the kindergartener has sold more than 100,000 boxes, something no Girl Scout her age had ever done before.
And it all started with a simple idea.

“I want to sell the most Girl Scout cookies,” Pim told her dad, Luke Anorak-Neill, early in the season.
At first, her goal was 10,000 boxes. To help her get there, Pim and her dad got to work the old-fashioned way—knocking on doors in their Pittsburgh neighborhood, handing out flyers, making phone calls, and asking around at church and local businesses.
“If people are going to buy cookies, we want them to know that Pimmy’s selling them,” Anorak-Neill said.
A few weeks in, Pim had already sold 5,000 boxes. Her dad asked what her ultimate goal was.
She said 10,000.
He recorded a short video of Pim talking about her goal and posted it on TikTok, hoping social media might give her a little boost.
“Hi, my name is Pim. Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies?” Pim said in the video.
The clip quickly went viral, racking up more than 5 million views—and Pim’s sales took off.
Before long, she had surpassed the single-season sales record. Now, she has her sights set even higher, hoping to beat the lifetime record of 180,000 boxes, with about a month left in the season.
Despite the incredible milestone, Pim remained refreshingly humble when she passed 100,000 boxes.
Why does she like selling cookies?
“It makes people happy,” she said.
A Determined Spirit
Pim’s father says her determination isn’t new.
“She has always been a record breaker,” Anorak-Neill said, noting that Pim was a Top 10 reader at age 4 and enjoyed selling popcorn for school and collecting gifts for a toy drive.
But her journey into Girl Scouts wasn’t without challenges. The first troop her father approached turned Pim away because of her disabilities.
“They said, ‘We don’t want that in our troop,’” Anorak-Neill recalled. “They said, ‘Go find a playgroup for disabled kids.’”
Undeterred, he kept searching and eventually found a newly formed Daisy Scout troop that welcomed Pim with open arms.
Her success has transformed what the troop thought was possible. Early on, they hoped cookie sales might fund a few camping trips. Now, thanks in part to Pim’s efforts, a trip to Niagara Falls—an ambitious goal for serious sellers—has become a certainty.
At one troop meeting, leaders even told the girls they didn’t need to sell another box if they wanted to stop.
“But everybody wants to still do cookie booths and fundraise,” Anorak-Neill said. “This is fun for everybody. It’s a win for Girl Scouts.”
Pim’s story has drawn widespread encouragement online, with thousands of people cheering her on. One admirer summed up the reaction with a playful comment: “SHE IS 6 and 86 AT THE SAME TIME. OH MY GOD I LOVE HER SO MUCH.”
