Today's good news story comes from Tyler, Texas.
This holiday season, students from Bell Elementary in Tyler, Texas, are proving that even the smallest gestures can have a big impact. Through their after-school leadership program, The Bella Girls—a group of spirited fourth and fifth graders—are engaging in a series of community projects aimed at spreading joy and kindness.

On Monday, the girls brought "cupcake socks" to the Hamptons Living Community. The socks, carefully rolled and packaged to resemble cupcakes, were a hit, sparking smiles and warm conversations among the residents.
“Our goal is to make people spread love and feel loved,” explained Ximena Espinoza, one of the young leaders in the group.
For counselor and program coordinator Kim Collum, the experience was a touching reminder of the power of community.
“Being able to see the girls today, just to come and interact and meet new people and just give back to the community in just a small little way,” she shared, “I think all of us want to know that someone is thinking about us or that we are caring about them.”
