Two police officers rescued two dogs from a dangerous fire that threatened homes in Healy on September 12.

As firefighters worked to control the flames, two local constables took immediate action, evacuating residents in the danger zone. During their efforts, the officers discovered two senior dogs at a nearby property, their lives in imminent danger as the fire intensified.
Bodycam footage released by the Queensland Police Service captures the dramatic moment officers discovered the dogs and carried them to safety.

The dogs were reunited with their owners, however, the business suffered significant damage from the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
