UW-Milwaukee Student Gets Unexpected Help From Packers' Quarterback Jordan Love Amidst Snowstorm

January 18, 2024

Today's good news story comes from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

A student from UW-Milwaukee experienced an unexpected surprise the day after her birthday when Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love came to her aid during a snowstorm.

Lucy Kurowski, who was spending her winter break in her hometown of De Pere, received assistance from Love after her car got stuck in the snow.

"He gets out of his car and he's like, 'Are you OK?'" Kurowski, 20, told WLUK-TV. "And I was like, ‘Are you Jordan Love?!' I was fangirling."

Kurowski's aunt shared the heartwarming moment on X, revealing that Love helped her niece out of a snow drift.

This act of kindness occurred only a few days prior to Love leading the Green Bay Packers to a noteworthy playoff triumph over the Dallas Cowboys, achieving a score of 48-32 on Sunday.

"I think everyone is truly seeing that he's not just an MVP on the field but just a great, great person," said Kurowski.
