Man Chases Alligator Under Water, Pries Open The Gator's Mouth To Save His Puppy
November 22, 2020
A man in Florida saved his dog from the jaws of an alligator and it was all captured on video by a nearby wildlife camera.

Richard Wilbanks didn't think twice before he jumped into the water, wrestling the alligator to save his puppy Gunner's life.
"He just came out like a missile," Wilbanks said.
He pried opened the alligator's mouth until it released his dog.
"[He] had one little puncture wound. My hands were just chewed up," Wilbanks said. "But I was able to save Gunner's life."
Wilbanks calls it a learning experience and plans to keep Gunner away from the water from now on, and always on a leash.
