Wild Wild West Justice: Cowboys Help Police Catch Car Thief In Las Vegas

December 14, 2019

A group of cowboys helped police catch a car thief who crashed into a horse trailer in Las Vegas.

"This man running from the cops thought it would be a good I idea to run through a bunch of cowboys," Colton Payne wrote on Facebook. "And I was right there to video it."

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spotted a car that was reportedly stolen and tried to stop it.

One of the people in the stolen car jumped a fence at the park and began running across the fairgrounds. That's when the cowboys got involved.

"By the time I kind of had my rope up and [the suspect] had his hands up, right when I was thinking about roping him," said Cayden Cox, a cowboy and professional cattle roper.

"The best part of the whole deal was one when the [police] helicopter flew over us and said 'good job Ropers!' or something like that oh that just made our day," added Cox.
