Nathan Alexander, a math professor at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, was photographed holding a student's baby as he gave a lecture on Friday.
"Student came to class today with his child due to no babysitter or anybody to watch her while he was in class," Nick Vaughn wrote on Twitter. "My professor NATHAN ALEXANDER said 'I'll hold her so you can take good notes!'"
Alexander responded to the post and thanked Vaughn for the kind words, adding "I appreciate the love!"
After the class ended, Alexander continued to hold the child as he helped answer questions from students.
"Not only did he teach the entire lecture with the child in his arms but also stayed after class helping those with questions about today's lecture with the child still in his arms as seen in the pictures,' Vaughn said in another post.
