March 1, 2019
It was a long shot but it worked.
An artist in Nigeria posted a photo of a drawing he did of Kevin Hart and asked for retweets so that his favorite comedian may see it.

The drawing is so incredibly well drawn it looks like a black and white photograph.

Two days later, Eli Waduba got much more than he ever expected.
Kevin Hart responded to the tweet and asked Waduba if he could buy the drawing.
But Hart didn't stop there.

Waduba, 26, said he hoped that Hart would see it but never expected it to happen so fast.
"It has been so overwhelming and words cannot describe it," Waduba told CNN. "Kevin Hart has always been my favorite comedian."
"We have started the process [of selling the portraits]," he said.
