David Casarez woke from his park bench in Mountain View, California, put on his best outfit and held a hand-written cardboard sign on a highway median.
A passerby snapped a photo of him and posted the photos on Twitter where the post quickly went viral.
"Today I saw this young homeless man asking for people to take a resume rather than asking for money," Jasmine Scofield wrote on Twitter. "If anyone in the Silicon Valley could help him out, that would be amazing. Please RT so we can help David out!"
Since then he's been flooded with more than 200 job offers.
Google, Netflix, LinkedIn, and many other companies have already reached out.
According to The New York Post, Casarez had earned a bachelors degree in management information systems from Texas A&M University, landed a good web developer job at General Motors in Austin, but cashed out and drove to Silicon Valley to pursue his dream of his own tech startup — only to run out of money.
"I've been overwhelmed in a very good way. Can't believe the amount of support coming my way. Didn't know it was because of Twitter until recently that I spoke to the creator of the Tweet. Keeping my head up," David said.
