School Cafeteria Worker Feeds The Hungry Well After Lunch Hour Ends

July 2, 2018

For the last 26 years, Debra Davis has served students and still found time to cook for the homeless.

Debra Davis works hard feeding the students at Hoover High School in San Diego. After serving food all day, she drives her 1976 Chevy Malibu around the city looking for homeless people to feed.

Because Debra is so selfless, the school district recently surprised her with a new car.

In an interview with CBS News, Steve Hartman asked Debra, "What does it mean to you that faculty of the staff, the kids all wanted you to have this gift?"

Debra began to cry. "That I'm making a difference," she replied.
