"I miss my bald head. Shaving your head is so empowering. You don't need hair to be beautiful. You are beautiful with or without. I learnt that, too," Millie tweeted.
Millie also posted a video of the haircut that changed her life to Instagram and Twitter.
"The day I shaved my head was the most empowering moment of my whole life. The last strand of hair cut off was the moment my whole face was on show and I couldn't hide behind my hair like I used to. As I looked in the mirror I realized I had one job to do. Inspire." Millie wrote.

"I have a job to do and that is to inspire other girls that your image or exterior part is not what I think is important. What I find important is caring, loving and inspiring other girls," she added.
Many women have responded with their own stories on how Millie has inspired and empowered them.
"15 years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer and my hair fell out in clumps," replied one Twitter user. "The most empowering moment of my life was when I shaved it all off and took control! Thank you for rocking your bald head and proving that bald is beautiful!"
"Shaving my head was one of the coolest experiences of my life! Felt like such a badass," replied another.
"I shaved mine a few days ago. I was so built up with so much grief from my father passing a month ago. And I feel so much better and glad I did it," Jennifer Green wrote.

When Millie created her Twitter account in 2017, she said it was only for "sharing love and positivity".
Thank you, Millie, for all that you do.
