A Car Guard's Hospital Visit
By Marian Gray-Wilson • October 7, 2024
Here is a most amazing story about our incredible fellow South African awesome human beings. I have friends who live in the Edenvale area who have their 84 year old Grandpa, Gavin, visiting them for a while. Sam regularly takes him with to the shops to get groceries and supplies at Karaglen. She parks on the Woolies side and their is a car guard called Guy who always greets them enthusiastically. They don't carry cash so Sam often buys him a loaf of bread for the family and a drink.
Grandpa Gavin unfortunately fell ill and was admitted to Edenvale hospital. When Sam went to rhe shops next to get him snacks for his stay in hospital, Guy, the car guard, noticed she was alone and came to enquire where Grandpa is. Sam told him he is sick and in hospital.
People, you will not believe what I say next - Mr car guard, Guy and his wife went vist Grandpa Gavin in hospital..... I have no words! 🥰🥰🥰 we live in a great Country with wonderful people!
