I Felt Special All Day

Needed some fuel as my car was low so put in $10 worth of petrol.

Waited in queue and when l went to pay the girl said nothing owing.

I stood there unsure until this young man turned and said I've paid it "have a lovely day".

I caught up to him outside and said thank you that's so sweet.

He just smiled, got into his car and drove off.

I felt special all day, smiling every time l thought of his kindness.
