My son and I have had an extremely hard couple of months and are slowly trying to get back on our feet and restart/build our lives again after leaving a very toxic and abusive relationship and then having a very serious car accident in which we were extremely lucky to only sustain minor injuries.
After hearing of our personal issues a beautiful mum from my son's kinder reached out to me and gave me some funds to go towards replacing things that i had to leave behind or that were destroyed in the last couple of months.
I am so extremely grateful to now call this beautiful mum part of my new family and my son calls her Aunty. I will be forever grateful to have crossed paths with her. I am still struggling to get back on my feet and get the things I need, but this amazing woman constantly reminds me to take it 1 step at a time. One foot in front of the other and I will eventually get to where I want to be.
