This Kindness Kept Me Going

Just thinking about that time in 2018 I’d applied for literally hundreds of media and journo jobs - to no avail and to a lot of generic halfhearted apologetic rejection emails - when one journo sent this incredibly kind and personal reply.

In reflection, I would not be exaggerating when I said that this kindness kept me going when I was losing hope of getting a dream job. Now I have one and I hope some day I can help someone like Darren helped me.
