Double Kindness

By Helen • January 24, 2022

Shout out to my sister Ali and her hubby Chris.

Sitting in a restaurant in Yarrawonga they noticed an elderly (90s) man sitting alone.

My sister sent her 8 year old granddaughter to ask him if he wanted to join them to eat. He did and he told stories of his war journey and his wife in the nursing home. At the end my sister went to pay for them all including the elderly man  To her surprise and tears another table had noticed what they had done and paid for all of them before they left.

That’s a double kindness right there. Made me cry.
