Best Birthday Ever!

Today was my birthday and I took my son (8) to sushi for dinner.
I joked with him and asked if he was paying as it is my birthday. A young couple sitting behind us must have overheard because when I went to pay it was already paid!
As we walked outside they were driving off and both yelled out "happy birthday".
It honestly made my day. I have been a single mother since my son was born and this is just the best feeling to know that a stranger could be so thoughtful...
Best birthday ever.
