An NHS worker posted this photo to Twitter and said: "A busy 60-hour block of shifts this one. Came out of a house in Ainsdale to find this. Thank you."
She added:
"When we came outside, we found chocolate bars and drinks had been left on the step of the ambulance by one of her neighbours. It was a really thoughtful gesture, which goes a long way these days. Every act of kindness is very much appreciated."
