Ice Cream

By Dale • April 7, 2021

Just wanted to share a little story about my daughter.

Yesterday she was working at McDonald’s when a lovely older couple brought their grandchildren in for a meal. She served them the first time round and when they finished the grandfather walked back and asked how much 2 ice creams were. She advised him it would be $1.40. He sighed and said that’s ok I don’t have enough and the little kids faces fell. My 17 year old jumped in and said...”that’s ok I’ll pay for them”

The man said “no no that’s ok” to which she insisted.

He came back after the kids had finished and thanked her profusely and told her it made his heart burst.

It was only $1.40.... but I’m so proud of my daughters big heart!!
