Fell In Love With My Husband Again Today

By A Friend • January 22, 2020

We both had jury duty at the same court house but on different floors. My floor had the room where you first report and where you get your paperwork after being excused. I was sitting in the hallway waiting around and looking at my phone when the elevator opened and a bunch of excused jurors got off.

I looked up, absentmindedly glancing at random faces, when I saw my husband. He stepped out of the crowd and had the biggest grin on his face as he walked toward me and sat down next to me.

I blushed. I got butterflies. We were suddenly the only people in the room. My heart never felt bigger. I was filled with gratitude for being lucky enough to be married to my best friend and able to have moments like this.

I’ve been thinking about it all afternoon. I cant explain what made that moment so special, but I know I’m going to remember it for the rest of my life.
