To The Man Who Stopped...
By A Friend • December 13, 2018
I want to say thank you.
Today was my wife's Papas funeral, he was in the military for the Vietnam war, so we had a lot of veterans in the procession. A lot of people were stopping on the road, but there was also a number of people who didnt or stopped until the police passed and then kept going.
Well there was one man, upon seeing the procession, stopped his car, stepped out and gave a salute to everyone passing. My wife couldn't stop crying after seeing him. It melted her to someone paying respect to a man he didn't know.
I know he'll never see this, but I just wanted to say thank you.
