Who Am I?
By Ndivhuwo • April 7, 2017
I call for a hearing
I take stand at the crossroads on the hilltop along the road.
I raise my voice to all people, both the simple and foolish people.
Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you.
Everything I say is right, for I speak the truth.
For I am far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with me.
I live together with good judgement.
I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.
I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech. Common sense and success belong to me.
I love those who loves me.
My gifts are better than gold, even the purest gold and my wages better than sterling silver.
Your love for me inherit wealth and I will fill your treasuries.
The Lord formed me from the beginning before he created anything else.
When he marked off the earths foundation I was the architect at his side.
I was rejoicing always in his presence.
Joyful are those who listens to me.
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.
But those who miss me injure themselves.
All who hate me love death.
I have built my own house and I have prepared a great banquet, mixed the wines, and set the table.
I have sent my servant's to invite everyone to come.
"Come in with me you who lack good judgement, come and eat my food, and drink the mixed wines I have made. Leave your simple ways behind and begin to live; learn to use good judgement".
Fearing the Lord is my foundation.
I will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn me, you will be the one to suffer. Who am I?, for I am WISDOM! [Proverbs 8]
