A Rose

A man I once met told me his wife was terminally ill. I bought a rose and was on my way to give it to someone else when I bumped into the man and his wife. I suddenly felt compelled to hand her the rose. She hugged me crying but happy and said that when she had prayed that morning, that she had asked God if he heard her prayer to send her a rose as a sign. I knew I was being used as an instrument... I'm positive this gesture brought her immense comfort.
