Trust And Hope

June 2, 2014

Dear God,

My husband is really gone. I guess you had your reasons for taking him from us, but not sure at all what they would be. How I am supposed to carry on without him? I have to be strong for our two daughters who are 11 and 6. How can I do this when I all I do is cry. I am filled with worry- bills, lawn care, house etc... My husband would take care of all that for us. I have to find a job which will not be easy in this economy. I haven't worked in 11 years staying at home raising our daughters while my husband worked hard for us to be comfortable and happy. Help Me God and my beautiful, sweet daughters who miss their father terribly. I talked with a counselor about my girls. She assured me in time they would be okay and I would be okay too. I have my doubts because the pain is to great for all of us.

October 25, 2015 (Been praying since June 2014 to God and Mary)

Dear God,

Thank you for everything you have done for us. Today is my daughters 13th birthday. She is so happy to be a teenager. She is excelling at school, is an altar server at our church and volunteers at our local food bank. She has great friends and is always smiling. My youngest daughter will be 8 in December and like her big sister is excelling in school. Her artwork was just published in the towns calendar. She is always smiling too. I found a great job at my daughters school. It helps with the bills and groceries and my schedule is their school schedule. I have figured out my husbands lawn tractor (just like driving a car-easy) so our lawn always looks nice. I have dependable and honest people to call when I need things done for my car and home. The young couple who live next door and a good friends husband take care of the snow on my driveway if we get a storm. If it's 8 inches or less I can shovel. God Bless them for helping us out. Because of God's love for us and the kindness of others I am not worried anymore. Gave all of us hope in our present and our future.

Keep praying and never give up hope or trust in our Dear Lord. He is always there for you when you need him. My family is the perfect example of that.
