Italian Artist Paints Better Than Your HD Camera Takes Pictures
October 16, 2014
Italian artist Roberto Bernardi began painting at a very young age. He dedicated his studies to the learning of pictorial techniques which would have a significant influence on his artistic formation.
After an initial foray with landscapes and portraits, Bernardi turned towards a totally new kind of realism called Hyperrealism.
His works have been included in numerous exhibitions in Europe and the US.
In May 2010, Art and Antiques, one of the most prestigious art magazine in the US, dedicated the front cover to Roberto Bernardi.
In the same year, the american art magazine, Poets and Artists, also dedicated the front cover to him.
I'm having a really hard time believing these are not photographs...
"I can find inspiration from anything – I may see a scene that catches my attention anywhere and either photograph that scene or take the essence of that scene and create a totally new composition." ~ Roberto Bernardi
