A Dad Keeps a Running List of Every Dog He Meets on His Beach Walks

One dad collects something even better: the names and details of every dog he meets along the way.

His daughter recently shared a photo of her dad's handwritten dog-walking list on Reddit, and the wholesome discovery quickly captured people's hearts. 

The list is exactly what you'd expect from someone who takes his canine encounters seriously. It includes the names of dozens of dogs, their breeds, and little details to help him remember each one.

There's Maggie, a Vizsla, Waffles, a Border Collie, Rainy, a Dachshund, Rosie, a yellow Lab, and Cooper, a German Shorthaired Pointer. Other entries include black Labs, Boxers, German Shepherd mixes, and plenty of other four-legged friends.

Some names appear to have been updated over time, while others have been added in different colors, suggesting this is an ongoing project that has grown with every walk.

And judging by the number of names on the page, this dad has made quite a few friends along the beach.

The photo quickly attracted an outpouring of love from fellow Reddit users.

"I adore your dad," one commenter wrote.
