Mel Thompson said it took her about a week to create the blue snow dragon on her front lawn. She started by shovelling the snow into a big pile.
"I used some buckets and basically just my hands and shaped it into how I wanted it to look and I put some food colouring and water in a spray bottle and made it blue," Thompson told CKOM.
"I am right down the street from a school and previous years when I've done this, teachers will bring their classes and take pictures with it and it seems to make people smile, so that's what I was going for," she said.
"We need more things to make us smile these days."
