In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Winslet was asked where she keeps her Oscar.
It turns out she keeps the most prestigious award of her career... in her guest bathroom.
Why?
So her guests can hold it and make acceptance speeches in the mirror without feeling self conscious.
"The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad' — and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," Winslet said. "They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical."
Just another reason to love Kate Winslet.
